Guaranismos is a cultural-heritage reference platform documenting Guaraní loanwords and their influence in Uruguayan culture.
The platform addresses an accessibility gap, not an information gap: the scholarship on these words already exists, but it resides in academic volumes and theses that are not publicly legible to the Uruguayans whose everyday speech these words belong to. Guaranismos exists to take verified linguistic heritage and make it findable, readable, and shareable.
